Dr. Baptiste Boitier

Coordination of studies related to climate, energy and the environment

Baptiste Boitier holds a PhD in economics from Ecole Centrale Paris. He is currently economist at SEURECO, and has more than 15 years of experience in modelling. His research interests include economic modelling and the evaluation of economic impacts of structural policies such as taxation, climate or innovation. He has participated in studies on the analysis of the socio-economic consequences of the European research programme Horizon Europe, the implementation of a carbon tax at the EU’s borders and numerous research projects and studies on Eu and national policies to mitigate the global warming. He is currently in charge of the follow-up of the European contract PARIS REINFORCE and of a study for ADEME on the economic risks of the climate transition
