Dr. Pierre Le Mouël

Pierre Le Mouël holds a PhD in economics from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis and specialises in macroeconomic modelling on the themes of technical progress, growth and innovation, but he also works frequently on issues related to climate change, energy and the environment. He has more than 20 years of experience in economic modelling. He is one of the main authors of the NEMESIS model and of the endogenous growth properties of the GEM-E3 model. He has contributed to numerous European projects in the fields of economic modelling and technical progress: SIMPATIC and I3U, land use: SENSOR and PLUREL and environment and energy: SET-Nav, for the most recent ones. Pierre Le Mouël is currently involved in studies on the CIR or a French prospective on employment and qualifications, as well as in the PARIS REINFORCE research project
